Clarify Your Goal - Results Will Follow
Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 10:23AM Online marketing is a powerful tool. There are so many components to it, that without a clear goal, and intention, you could be spinning your wheels, and getting no where. You have to have an objective, and then map out a plan.
For instance, let's say your goal is to dominate google's first page on a buying keyword. With that goal in mind, you would map out a clear plan and execute that plan. If you goal is to develop a following so you can develop trust with a certain audience, you would map out a social media plan to build that following and provide valuable content.
Both of these objectives are very different, and can produce different results and reflect different parts of your business. Both are valuable to your business, and your customers.
Prioritize your goals, prioritize your plan, and prioritize your execution of this plan. You will get results, you have to be consistent and stay focused on the clear goal.
