Article marketing is a proven, stable force on the internet. You can use it as a weapon to dominate a keyword, and drive traffic to a website that is not yet indexed on the search engines. This Advanced Article Marketing strategy I am going to reveal is not for the weak hearted. In fact, it is for those who want to MASTER article marketing, and become an internet marketer that is in the top 5%.

To keep this post short, I will assume you already know about how to do the basics of article marketing, and if you haven't read my blog posts, and if you have access to the member areas, there are step-by-step instructions.

Let's think bigger, let's say you write 5-10 articles to be used in a keyword strategy. Let's say you pick one keyword and write 5 different articles about that topic. Next you would pick one of the top two article directories (Ezine.com & ArticlesBase), and publish. Now stay with me, this will be where it gets interesting. As if writing about one keyword in 5 different slants isn't enough.

You want to link these articles together in distribution. Link 1-5, but not 1 and 5 together. Linking them together will give you more weight around this keyword, and ultimately give you more power around the keyword. This description may seem simple, but if you get the power of it - you can use it to attract major traffic.

Article marketing is proven to be a steady lead source if done correctly. You can target keywords, write great content, publish them on high quality directories, and then it gets really interesting. It is not enough to just write and publish anymore. Sure, that works, but to really make it effective you want your articles picked up by other people and publishing them for you on high traffic sites. Social bookmarking is becoming extremely important, even more interesting is to leverage other people's websites that publish your content. You can set up google alerts with your title or snipet of your article and get notices on when anyone publishes your work. Then if you find out they are a site you are interested in being noticed on. Set up an agreement for exclusive publishing rights for unique content. This will allow you to do quality back links related to keywords that will help with your SEO efforts.
