You want to do your keyword research for the industry or category, look at a local market in addition to the keyword phrase and find out what keyword phrase is worthy of putting in effort. Look for keyword phrases that are less than 500,000, and make sure there aren't videos, or articles on the page.

What is your value proposition?
<category term="You, Inc. When you begin to brand yourself - think of your value propositon. THINK BIG! Your goal is to build up a list based on your value, your contribution, and have potential customers buy from you.

Yes, you can do a one off offer, but the real bang for your buck is when you think big and pull them into for your bigger offer. Your expertise in many areas.

An example would be, if you have a shoe store, you could market your shoes, one by one, or as a whole, or even better yet, market yourself as a fashion expert and provide valuable information on fashion, and the shoes will probably sell themselves. This is thinking bigger than the shoe.

What are you good at? What is your contribution to your industry? What is your unique offer?

We are working on our "mothership" offer and will reveal it in the next few weeks. You will see how we tie our single offers into a package, and give it all away for FREE! (Yes, there is a sales offer down the road. We are in business like you.)

Create Momentum Through Live Events

There is nothing better than talking to a prospect through a live event. With all the technology available, we can host live events with a click of a button. You still have to promote the live event, and push out really good content!

Do a series of videos showing something that people want to know about, and then push them out the social media groups, and communities. Make sure the content you are pushing out is valuable, and is so good that you feel like you should be charging for it. This will build trust, and convince them that you are going to give good content on the live event.

Put together a landing page where they can see some of your training in action and have an opt-in form for them to access the live event registration. Through opting into your list, they will also get amazing content sent to their inbox. We usually record our events, and send our list a link to the recording.

WHY would you go to thus trouble? Build trust & promote you services, and they will buy if they are not up for implementing what you are teaching them.

How To Find Your True Voice & Get Credibility

As a marketer, you MUST express yourself through writing, videos, emails and other forms of communication. It becomes essential to find your true voice.

Your "positioning" (your point of view) will always lead, and your natural tone of your personality should come through.

I say take whatever you are experienced at and remember that you are the best at that! You have a point of view, and then take your personality and let it shine.

Many people want to be perfect, which is great, and we should all strive for perfection. But always question if that perfection will really allow you to make more money, or achieve that goal better than if you let it go.

Lets face it, we are human and perfectly imperfect!

People will like you just as you are, and if they don't - MOVE ON! There are plenty of people who will get you and relate to you.

I believe people want to see "REAL"! They want to know the real you. And guess what, when they do know the real you they will trust you more, and they will come back to you for more....

And ultimately, that is what building relationships is all about. It doesn't matter if it is personal or professional, real will always win!

Be BOLD! Don't be afraid of what people think. You will get better, the more you communicate.
Just remember one last thing. The more people you help to get what they want, the more you win, and ultimately make more money. So provide value in your voice and people will love you!

To read more about..."Why The Top 3 Always Win" on your other blog - click here.

Does giving something away for free really work to attract customers?

People are often mapping out their marketing plan and not sure which direction to go. They could promote exclusivity, or an offer that is short to expire. They could promote something as the hot "new" thing. But ultimately, unless people find value in their offer, the offer won't get any love.

Giving something away works really well!! Why? Because they find value in what you have before they make a buy. They like what you have to offer, and they will come back for more.

People have thousands of offers in their face daily!! Overwhelm mode! Think about what you would like. If you are curious or interested in something, wouldn't you be likely to at least try a "F.R.E.E" product before you bought something. Wouldn't that most likely build your trust with that vendor, person, or company?

One of my mentors says you should give away such good content for free that it feels like you should be charging for it. Again - if they like it, when they are ready to buy, or they know someone who is ready to buy, they will remember YOU.

Try it! See what kind of sales you will convert. The given bonus along the way - you actually do something good and help people. That is worth more than gold! (If you ask me)
